HECTIC, EMOTIONAL AND ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!

Also known as the month of May!  Spring is in full swing and May is buzzing with activity.  The biggest activities for some of the families I work with throughout the year is graduation.  High school careers are coming to an end and new chapters are waiting to be written.

Each year, I'm honored to photograph young men and women as they prepare to enter their senior year.  When graduation time rolls around, I'm thinking about the seniors as well as their parents.  I remember the excitement of being a senior and I'm beginning to feel the parental joy, anticipation and panic as my own twin boys are now halfway through high school.

Our children occupy our every thought and every minute for 18ish years and then the routine of life as we know it comes to an abrupt, bittersweet end.  They spread their wings and set out into the world to become whomever they were created to be. The family unit we have known for those 18 years is never the same.

Family is everything to me. It's my why.

As your child approaches this milestone, I would love to create art with you and your senior-to-be!

To all my 2018 seniors, you made it!  

Thank you for letting me be a part of this milestone!

As you go forth in life, remember, hard work will put you where opportunity can find you!
